Food Truck World Tour to Raise Funds for Immigrant Legal Center

Immigrant Legal Center is hosting the 7th annual Food Truck World Tour to raise critical funding to support free immigration legal services for low-income families in Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

Food Truck World Tour raises critical funding that provides life-changing immigration legal services, advocacy, and education for low-income immigrants in our communities. As Nebraska and southwest Iowa’s largest nonprofit immigration legal services provider, ILC is uniquely able to meet the ever-changing needs of immigrant communities because of their people, partners, and promise to never turn any family away due to inability to pay.

At the event, guests will sample food from Maria Bonita, El Arepón, Pao2Go, Wonton Jon’s, eCreamery, A Taste of New Orleans, La Casa Pizzeria, Chaima’s African Cuisine, and Omaha Steaks with A Taste of Heaven Food Truck.

eCreamery will be serving ILC’s signature flavor “Everybody Speaks Ice Cream,” a sea salt caramel ice cream with peanut butter swirls and brownie bites.

Serving as this year’s Co-Chairs are Karen and Taylor Borchert and Marlina and Dusty Davidson.

This year, ILC is excited to honor all living former Omaha Central High School principals for their collective work welcoming immigrants in our community. This year’s Honorary Chairs include:
