Cailan Franz, ILC Director of Communications and Development spoke with metroTV for their Holiday Extravaganza series

Immigrant Legal Center’s Director of Development and Communications, Cailan Franz spoke with Andee Hoig from metroMagazine for week six of metroTV ‘s Holiday Extravaganza.
Franz talked about ILC’s work throughout the state of Nebraska and Southwest Iowa empowering vulnerable immigrants in our communities to live with confidence and without fear. She also discussed the 2020 Drive Thru Food Truck World Tour and the change in format due to COVID-19.
“In a year where there has been so much unknown and uncertainty, it was a true blessing to have the support of the community for Food Truck World Tour,” Franz said.
Franz shared different ways individuals can support ILC’s work as 2020 comes to an end and we enter 2021.
“Immigrant communities have and continue to face higher health and economic consequences as a result of COVID-19, and we do see an increase in the need for our services going into 2021,” Franz said. “If you are looking for a place to donate this holiday season, to invest in our community and families in our community, ILC is great way to do that.”
Franz encouraged individuals to invest in our communities this holiday season by giving by also supporting the various nonprofits in our community.
