Ruth Maldonado

DOJ Accredited Representative

As a Department of Justice (DOJ) Accredited Representative, Ruth works with attorneys, other DOJ-accredited representatives, and staff to provide direct legal services to clients who may qualify for a form of immigration relief. 


Ruth also works in coordination with community partners to promote community education, to advocate for immigrants’ rights and to promote inclusion of the immigrant community in rural communities.

Ruth earned her degree in Theology at Rio Grande Bible Institute. Ruth received her medical interpreter certification by the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters in 2012. She is fluent in Spanish.

 

 

When not working you can find Ruth spending time with her grandchildren, attending their school events and activities, taking care of her 3-year-old granddaughter and cuddling with her 2-month-old grandson.
