As an ILC Paralegal, Hamayoon provides legal assistance in preparing documents, communicating with clients, and helping with translations.
He assists the Asylum team by providing direct support to the Afghan Parolee Project team with forms, statements, cover letters, motions, petitions, and briefs.
Hamayoon has been a contracted interpreter for the Afghan Project since April 2022 and will be expanding his career path towards DOJ accreditation to provide more support for the Afghan refugee community.
He earned his Bachelor of Law from Cairo University in Egypt. He is fluent in English, Arabic, Dari (Persian), and Pashto.
