Education is an important part of our mission. Because we operate under a complex immigration system, we strive to provide critical information and training that will help immigrants and those who serve them understand the many complex requirements that take years to complete.
We provide factual, timely information about the U.S. immigration system to immigrant and nonimmigrant communities, and professional aduiences.
We educate both immigrants and U.S. citizens about the realities of immigration laws and the effect they have on our families and our communities.
Free educational presentations to service providers, churches, and community groups are available as our staff schedules permit.
If your organization would like to invite a speaker from ILC to conduct a presentation or a work site training. complete and submit the Speaker Request Form.
Please provide as much information as possible, and submit your application at least three weeks in advance of the date of the presentation or event. This will allow us time to coordinate and get back to you.
Our experienced attorneys have a deep understanding of the legal needs of immigrants and the forms of relief available to them.
They provide leadership, speakers, and resources for community trainings involving services providers and laypersons. Work site trainings for employees and or management are available for a fee.
ILC staff has a wealth of knowledge of immigration law, issues and casework remedies. Opinions, practice papers, amicus curiae, and other professional resources are added periodically to the ILC Resource Blog.
