As the Access Specialist, Darlene is responsible for handling the Nebraska Immigration Legal Assistance Hotline (NILAH).
NILAH is a high-volume centralized immigration hotline where individuals can apply for non-profit immigration legal assistance from ILC and collaborating non-profit immigration legal service providers (ILSPs).
Darlene makes decisions regarding NILAH applicants’ eligibility for services and forms of immigration relief.
Darlene is working on getting her Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science with additional majors in Economics and International Studies with a concentration in Global Strategic Strategies from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. When not working, Darlene enjoys trying new things.
